Wakeboard Cable parkThinking to the future here.  Thinking about how I want to live my life and what it will look like.  There is a lot of time left in this vision so I figured it would be fun to pick out a piece of it and let you in on my dream.  The dream of having a cable park in my backyard where friends and family join together for weekly wakeboard fun.

My Personal Cable

Here is the picture I have in my head.  As you venture through to the end of the winding drive, an moderate A-frame house opens up the woods.  A short walk past the garage refrigerator puts you on top of a small hill which over looks the rest of the 10 acres.  A 40 foot walk to the right a has you sitting on top of our deck enjoying the rays of sun bouncing off the 4 acre pond. aka: The Cable Park

Right now there are 3 Cable Systems to choose from.

Wakeboard Boarder Pass

Sesitec 2.0 –  One of the first two tower cable systems to hit the US market.  Used at Boarder Pass

ERC – Endless Ride Cable, The second two tower system to hit the market.  Used at Board Nation

Cable Bahn – The third and newest two tower system.  Used at Railapalooza.

Imagine your own cable…

To me it makes sense.  Actually compared to my dream boat, I could probably buy two systems.  The challenge is weather gas or electricity is more expensive.  My guess is that gas is going to be on the high side for how much riding you can get done behind a cable.  Don’t get me wrong though.  A boat is a necessity, but with a cable the options are endless!

What are your dreams?  Have you ever wrote them out?  Do you think you can get your community together and put up a cable park?

keep your minds open and your eyes peeled and look for one more western U.S. company starting up next summer with prices that are unheard of in comparison to the rest

Sweet Brad, Keep me posted man. Always like a new cable company. I don’t see this cable craze stopping anytime soon.

Just saw this site; I know it is a little old, but I wanted to let you know that my company The Wakeboard Cable offers the most affordable option for a linear cable at 9,500. We have been in business for about a year and have 9 cables installed. Check us out at http://www.thewakeboardcable.com

    Thanks,
    David

Buying a home with a 250’x125′ small lake on the ten acres and would like to know if that’s to short for a private system. Would love to able to just step out my back door and ride, post pone the boat upgrade and use the money for a two tower system.

Scott, 250 USA little short. You might be able to get one hit in. You could always use a winch. Also make sure to talk with David who commented!
