It is what happens when you push the limits. When you push your body to places they have not been in awhile. It is what happens when you want to try something new and are not sure what is going to happen, but you try it anyway. In situations like this you always have to give it up to the person who takes it to the next level. Watch as Denise gets bucked into a face plant.
This is a short clip of our friend Denise on the trampoline inside the Misfit Lab. Denise has a few years of jumping under her belt and knows her way through the air pretty well. She asked me to send the clip of her crash to her so I figured I would put it into a short little video so she could really watch what she was doing. Enjoy!
Trampolines are so good for training. I am super glad Denise was only shaken up a bit and I am sure she will be back. She knows how to push limits and I hope this video doesn’t scare you off. If it does, this stuff probably isn’t for you anyway.
Have you ever been bucked off the trampoline? Do you agree that trampolines are a great way to train for sports like snowboarding and wakeboarding?

Sunday at noon. It’s going down. Get your legs ready, your minds straight, and pick a few tricks to learn. The first PARX meet up at the Misfit Lab is about to happen. If you want to become a better rider or want to keep your legs fresh for next year, you have to train. We want to train on a super tramp that has a sea of foam next to it. Only place we can do that is at the lab. Meet us there to train and have more fun than Chuck Norris.
So here is the deal. Come to the Misfit Lab and have some fun. Tell the guys up front Jon T from PARX sent you and you will get in for $20 bones (3hr All Area). I will try to come up with a newsletter in the near future. You can sign up for it below. This is the newsletter for tomorrow!! Contact us if you have questions or want to car pool on I-75 somewhere. Time to keep our asses in shape and learn some new tricks.

Each week we highlight our favorite piece of social media from the snowboard and ski world and give it our “I’d Hit That” stamp of approval. All we want to do is give recognition to all of the hard working folks in the Action Sports Industry.
Sit back, enjoy, and take a look at this weeks “I’d Hit That” stamp of approval.
It was always a question for the Misfit Lab, but not anymore. Can a double be done at the Lab? Tyler May, a local Michigan snowboarder seals the deal and squashes all of the questions with his double into the foam pit. This is a huge break through and exactly why this video deserves an “I’d Hit That” stamp of approval.

After months of working their tails off, the Misfit Lab opened to the public. On opening day people from around the Midwest came to snowboard, ski and check out the facility. There were Huck Finn competitions throughout the day, AGA gave out some stellar swag, and PARX was on display. It was an opening day to remember and one that we wish everyone could have made it to.
Inside the Misfit Lab
Bootleg 005 went off without a hitch. We tested our set up inside the Misfit Lab warehouse. We met new people we hope to know for a long time, and we are excited the Midwest now has a indoor facility where people can snowboard and ski year round. Here is a video of PARX inside the Lab.
Sorry for not showing you more footage of the Misfit Lab Facilities. I guess this means you will have to go there and check it out for yourself. I don’t really think video of the place will do it justice anyway. You have to check it out in person, so get there. We had a blast and think you will too.

Over the past few years there has been a lot of talk that Michigan needs an indoor snowboard and ski training facility. We couldn’t agree more, and we are happy to say that it is going down right now. In a few months an indoor snowboard, ski and skate training facility will open in Fenton, MI. It’s called the Misfit Lab.
The Misfit Lab
Shaun Hamilton and his wife are behind this project and it is progressing very fast. When we first talked with Shaun in early 2011 the Misfit Lab was only an idea. I will never forget testing out Powderpak in Shaun’s backyard to see if it would work for the lab. Since that day of testing, a building has been leased, plans have been finalized and the construction is about to start. It’s on!!
Inside the Misfit lab will be a pro shop, a skate park, a snowboard and ski hill complete with a foam pit, rails, a beginner hill, and a trampoline to master tricks on. This is history folks. The Misfit Lab is one of a few indoor snowboard and ski training facilities in the USA.
Check out the Plans
Plans for the Skate Park
At first we were a little jealous of the Misfit Lab, but now we are completely pumped someone stepped up and took the initiative to make something like this happen. It’s about time. Michigan needs a place like this and the Midwest needed one even more! We are pumped to have met Shaun and his wife and look forward to walk with them as they build this empire. We look forward to the day they open in mid December. Word on the street is that we will be there with our set up to help celebrate their opening. We are so stoked to be a part of something so special and new that we can hardly wait.
What are your thoughts of the Misfit Lab? What would you like to see inside? Will you go to there to snowboard or ski? Leave a comment or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to hear what you think.
Misfit Lab = 0004 places, PARX and the world can Board the Midwest All Day Everyday.
